General Terms and Conditions

 

By entering Club Mix Karaoke (Meinekestraße 20, 10719 Berlin) or reserve room either online or on site, the visitor agrees to these terms and conditions. 

1. Organizer

2. Due to the volume of music at Club Mix events, there may be a risk of hearing and health damage, for which the organizer expressly disclaims liability.

3. Entry to the venue is at your own risk. Claims for damages against the organizer due to negligence are excluded. This also applies to its legal representatives or vicarious agents. This provision does not apply to damages resulting from injury to body, life, or health, as well as in cases of gross negligence or willful intent on the part of the organizer, or due to the breach of essential contractual obligations, whereby the claim for damages is limited to compensation for foreseeable, typical damages. Further liability is excluded.

4. Conduct and Safety.

4.1. Management reserves the right to refuse entry or remove guests violating these rules. 

4.2. Guests must respect staff, performers, and other patrons.

4.3. Any form of harassment, violence, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.

4.4. Smoking (including e-cigarettes) and the use of any illegal substances are strictly prohibited inside the venue. If any individual causes an alarm or emergency response due to a violation of this policy, they will be held fully responsible for all related costs, damages, or penalties incurred.

4.5. Club Mix reserves the right to refuse entry to a visitor for good cause (Section 4.2) if the reason is related to the visitor.

4.6. Good cause includes, but is not limited to, carrying prohibited items according to Section 6 of the applicable Terms and Conditions, a visitor’s obvious intoxication, an existing ban from the premises, if the visitor is obviously under the influence of drugs, or has an obviously sexist, homophobic, racist, or contemptuous attitude. Violations of the protection of minors will also result in the denial of entry. If one of the aforementioned important reasons for refusal of entry exists, the reservation deposit or entrance fee will not be refunded.

4.7. Instructions from security personnel and staff, especially in cases of danger, must be followed.

5. Liability and Indemnity.

5.1. We are not responsible for lost or stolen belongings.

5.2. Guests assume all risks related to participation in karaoke and activities.

5.3. We are not liable for injuries, accidents, or damages resulting from misuse of our facilities or equipment.

5.4. No liability is assumed for backpacks, bags, and especially their contents.

5.5. Bringing glass containers, cans, beverages, tape recorders, film and video cameras, pyrotechnic items, torches, sparklers, weapons, and similar items, as well as substances subject to the Narcotics Act, is prohibited. Failure to comply with this prohibition may result in expulsion from Club Mix.

5.6. During a visit to Club Mix and the rental of the corresponding room, compensation will be paid for damage to the furniture and furnishings of the room, or for vomiting in the room.

1) Vomits on the sofa or any other furniture or on the floor, a cleaning fee of 80€ per Person will be charged.

2) Damages chairs, including but not limited to tearing upholstery, breaking chairs, or defacing surfaces, a damage fee of 200€ will be charged.

3) Damages table, including but not limited to tearing upholstery, breaking table, or defacing surfaces, a damage fee of 500€ will be charged.

4) Damages sofa, including but not limited to tearing upholstery, breaking sofa, or defacing surfaces, a damage fee of 500€ will be charged.

5) Damages devices or other electronic equipment, including but not limited to microphones, Led-Pannels, Monitors, TVs, Tablets/Pads, PCs, pos, Wifi receiver, speakers, amplifiers, equalizers, subwoofers, or control panels, the following damage fee will be accordingly charged.

5.1) Microphone, 300 €.

5.2) Led-Pannel, 50 €/piece.

5.3) Monitor, 200 €. 

5.4) TV, 2,000 €. 

5.5) Tablet/Pad, 500 €. 

5.6) PC, 1,000 €.

5.7) Pos, 300 €.

5.8) Speaker, 2,000 €.

5.9) Amplifier, 1,000 €.

5.10) Equalizer, 1,000 €.

5.11) Control panel, 500 €.

5.12) Subwoofer, 2,000 €.

5.13) Wifi receiver, 100 €.

6) Damages walls, including but not limited to graffiti, holes, or stains, damage fee of 1,000 € will be accordingly charged.

7) Repeat offenders may face a permanent ban from the Club Mix.

8) Outside food Policy 

8.1) Guests are only permitted to bring a birthday cake into the karaoke rooms. Guests must inform our staff in advance if you plan to bring any food from outside. After receiving our approval, the following additional cleaning fees apply:

(Not applicable to children’s birthday parties)

• Room 1: €20
• Rooms 2, 3, 4 & 6: €50
• Room 5: €120
• Room 7: €150

In Addition, the Disclaimer for takeaway food for outside food must be signed.

8.2) Examples of prohibited food items include, but are not limited to:

All kinds of drinks, pasta, soups, oily or fried foods, strong-smelling foods such as dishes containing garlic or onions, fish or seafood, as well as any food that may spill, stain, or damage furniture and technical equipment.

8.3) Important Notice:

• Guests bringing outside food assume full responsibility for the safety and health of the food.
• A signed Disclaimer for outside food is required.
• Failure to sign the Disclaimer for outside food will be considered as the guest’s agreement to assume all risks associated with the food.
• Only light, easy-to-clean food is permitted. Strong-smelling, oily, or hot foods are not allowed.
• Any additional cleaning, damage, or delays resulting from failure to comply with these rules will be charged to the guest.
• For safety reasons, open flames and heating devices are strictly prohibited.

8.4) Violation will be subject to penalties:

• Room 1: €50
• Room 2&3&4&6: €100
• Room 5: €180
• Room 7:€200

9) Outside food Policy for children’s birthday

9.1) Parents may bring their own food provided that they comply with our outside food rules. 

9.5) Violation will be subject to penalties: 

• Room 1: €50

• Room 7:€200

10) YouTube Advertisement Policy

When using YouTube on a personal device, any time lost due to advertisements is the guest’s responsibility and will not be compensated or extended.

For the best experience, we recommend using the Club Mix karaoke music server, which is ad-free.

11) Room decoration

11.1) All decorations brought in must be completely removed and cleaned up when leaving the room. 

11.2) Prohibited decoration materials: 

• Difficult to clean, such as confetti, powders, etc.
• Flammable or explosive materials, such as fireworks.
• Smoke machines.

14) Additional Cleaning Fee

In the event of particularly dirty of the rented premises, especially in the private rooms, we reserve the right to charge an additional cleaning fee of €80.

 This circumstance includes, but is not limited to:

• Stepping on sofas, chairs, tables, or cabinets with feet
• Spilling drinks on the floor to such an extent that it becomes extremely sticky
• Spitting on the floor
• Other actions that result in exceptional dirt or chaos beyond normal use.

6. Taking photographs for private use with 35mm cameras and cell phones is permitted. The personal rights of third parties must be respected at all times.

7. The guest consents to and grants the organizer the right to make image, sound, and video recordings of him or her during the event without any compensation and to use or have them used in the media listed under point 7.2, in particular for reporting, to promote the events and the venue Club Mix, to acquire sponsors, and all other business activities of the organizer. The organizer assures the guest that recordings made by the service providers commissioned by the organizer will only be transferred to Club Mix & Mix Mix Management GmbH for use without data identification in accordance with the GDPR.

7.3. Video surveillance: To increase security, particularly to protect against criminal offenses, property damage, and generally to enforce house rules, parts of the Matrix are monitored by video cameras. This data is automatically deleted after 14 days. Recordings are stored on a case-by-case basis, to the extent and for as long as necessary for the safety of visitors and to investigate crimes. A general analysis of data does not take place.

8. During regular Club Mix operations, admission is only permitted for those aged 18 and over! (Please bring your ID). Special events are excluded, where admission may be permitted for minors under the age of 18 accompanied by a parent or guardian. The organizer of these special events assumes sole liability and guarantee for the actual implementation of the respective event in full.

9. Reservations, Bookings and price (Minimum Consumption)

9.1. Reservations are subject to availability and confirmation. Walk-ins are subject to room availability.

9.2. Deposits may be required for booking and will be returned to customers after arrival.

9.3. Cancellation or room changes are allowed up to 3 days (72 hours) prior to the scheduled arrival or event date for free of charge. No Show and failure to cancel or change the room reservation is deposit non-refundable..

9.4 Guests must arrive on time for their booking. If a guest arrives more than 30 minutes late without prior notice, the reservation will be automatically cancelled. Club Mix reserves the right to treat this as a no-show, and the deposit will not be refunded. Once cancelled, the room may be reassigned by our staff to other guests who wish to book. Please inform our staff in advance if you expect to be late to avoid cancellation. 

9.5 We do our best to ensure the room is ready at the reserved time, but delays of up to 30 minutes may occur due to cleaning or unforeseen circumstances.

9.6 Each room has a maximum capacity limit that must not be exceeded. If the limit is exceeded, an additional fee of €15 per person per hour will be charged. However, the venue reserves the right to refuse such requests that exceeds the maximum capacity and will only allow a reasonable number of people to enter the room.

9.7 Prices, minimum consumption

Our room price is based on the minimum consumption. 

Minimum Consumption means the minimum amount you must pay when you book a room. You don’t pay for the room itself — you just need to order at least the minimum amount in food and drinks. 

Example (Room 3):

Minimum consumption is €140 per hour.

If your group orders food and drinks worth €130 in one hour

→ you still pay €140.(Difference will be charged as room rent)

If your group orders €141

→ you pay €141.

So you always pay at least €140, or more if you spend more.

10. Membership Discount Card (MC 30%,50%) & Gift Card Policy

Membership cards and gift cards are non-refundable, non-exchangeable, and excluded from the right of withdrawal after purchase.

10.1) Membership Discount Card (MC 30%, 50%)

A Membership Discount Card (MC) provides an instant discount on the room’s minimum consumption during eligible days and times.

• MC 30% → 30% discount on the room price; the minimum consumption is reduced accordingly.
• MC 50% → 50% discount on the room price; the minimum consumption is reduced accordingly.

The discount is applied automatically at checkout after verification.

Validity & Eligible Days

Membership Discount Cards are valid only on the following days and times:

Valid:

• Sundays: 6:00 PM – 2:00 AM
• Mondays to Thursdays: all day

Not valid on:

• Fridays and Saturdays
• Sundays from 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM
• The day before public holidays in Berlin

(e.g. April 30, 2026 Thursday – the day before Labor Day)

Discounts cannot be applied outside of these times.

Card Validity Period:

All Membership Cards are valid for 12 months (1 year) from the date of purchase.

Usage Rules:

• Membership Cards are personal and non-transferable.
• Guests must present a valid ID and verify their registered phone number at checkout.
• If verification fails, Club Mix reserves the right to deny the discount and charge the regular price.

Combination with Other Offers

Membership discounts cannot be combined with:

• Gift Cards
• Coupons
• Special offers
• Flash sales or promotional pricing

Upgrading a Membership Card

Upgrading from MC 30% to MC 50% is possible by paying the price difference within the validity period.

The upgraded card does not restart the 12-month validity period; the original expiry date remains unchanged.

10.2) Gift Card Policy

A Gift Card is a prepaid card with a fixed value, which can be used like cash at Club Mix.

Example:

Room 1 – 1 Hour Gift Card (€90)

→ Can be used for one hour of room usage or as €90 credit toward services.

Validity:

All Gift Cards are valid for 12 months (1 year) from the date of purchase.

Usage Rules:

• Gift Cards cannot be exchanged for cash, refunded, or redeemed partially.
• Any remaining balance after use will not be refunded.
• If the total consumption exceeds the Gift Card value, the difference must be paid on site.

Using Gift Cards for Different Rooms:

• Gift Cards may be used for a different room than stated on the card.
• Price differences must be paid by the guest.
• No cash change or balance refund will be provided.

Combination with Membership Cards

Gift Cards cannot be combined with Membership Discount Cards or other promotions.

10.3) General Notes

• Club Mix reserves the right to verify all cards and identities.
• Misuse, fraud, or violation of house rules may result in refusal of card acceptance.
• All terms are subject to change in accordance with Club Mix house rules and applicable laws.

11. For all disputes arising from visits to Club Mix, the place of jurisdiction for entrepreneurs is Berlin; German law applies. The organizer reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time.

11.1. Should any clause be invalid, the remaining clauses shall remain unaffected. The invalid clause shall be replaced by the applicable statutory provisions.
